FOOTBALL FINAL

I am delighted to announce that the Thanet Under 11 District football team has reached the Kent Premiership Final, where they will be up against the Dartford District. The game will be held at Maidstone United's ground on Friday 27th March, kick off at 7.15pm. Why not go along and support our boys - the more the merrier!

PE STAFF NETWORKING TWILIGHT

Colleagues who attended our last networking meeting asked if the next one could be a twilight session. They also agreed that it would be good share and support each other with regards to the role of the PE co-ordinator in embedding the subject within the school curriculum, as well as what Ofsted have been looking for recently. Consequently we have arranged what we hope will be a practical and useful session which will be held at St George's Primary School on Monday 16th March, 4-5.30pm. There will be the usual updates and the main session will be led by Stephanie Selsby, our SGO, and Lisa Sparkes, PE Lead at Garlinge Primary. An agenda is attached with further information as to what will be discussed, as well as useful documents to bring with you.

FREE TENNIS CPD

Finally, Stephanie has been able to arrange a FREE Tennis coaching course at the Ursuline College on Tuesday 24th March, 4-6pm. This course is suitable for ALL STAFF who deliver PE, including support staff. Everyone attending will receive a free pack of resources and a £250 voucher towards coaching with an accredited local LTA coach. A flyer with further details is attached for this exceptional local CPD opportunity.
