Welcome back. As we hurtle towards Christmas, as well as rehearsing Nativity plays, planning parties and organising Xmas dinners, there are also lots of Passport events to fit in this term!

Thank you to all those schools that have already indicated that they will be attending our networking meeting at Haddon Dene on the afternoon of Tuesday 5th November. If you are planning on being there please let me know as soon as possible. Schools may send along as many members of staff as they so wish. The more the merrier!
So far I have had entries from 11 schools for this event on 12th November at Margate FC. Although the closing date was before half term I am still willing to accept entries by the end of this week.
Attached is a flyer giving details about our Dance Competition which will take place at St Lawrence College on Thursday 21st November, 4-5.45pm. Please note that this is now a day later than published on our calendar, due to the venue being unavailable. The 10 places available will be allocated on a first come first served basis and applications will NOT be accepted until 7.30am on Thursday 31st October 2019. To enter please e-mail me, garybcrees@gmail.com , no later than Monday 4th November 2019, stating how many dancers will be in your team.
Please note that this year the Year 5/6 Dodgeball will be a Festival, rather than a Tournament. The trophy will be awarded to the school that demonstrates the highest levels of honesty and fair play. Due to Health and Safety reasons no parental spectators will be allowed into the gym. The Festival will take place at King Ethelbert's Secondary School on Wednesday 27th November, 4-5.20pm, and there are 16 places available. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and applications will NOT be accepted until 7.30am on Thursday 31st October 2019. To enter please return the attached entry form to me, garybcrees@gmail.com , no later than Monday 4th November 2019.
With all schools having now played their first Les Riggs Cup games I am able to attach an updated draw for the next round, as well as the draw for the Consolation Cup. Please ensure that matches are completed by the required dates and that you let me know the results!
I know it is a long way in the future, but I am grateful to Vinnie Jones for pointing out that the 8th May 2020 has now been designated as the May Day Bank Holiday to celebrate VE Day. Consequently our Year 3/4 Mini Tennis competition at Margate Tennis Club has been moved to Friday 22nd May 2020. Please make a note if you were planning to enter.
