A short little Update this time! Entry forms for Term 3 events will be included in my next Update at the end of November.
Thank you to all those schools that have entered the Handball Taster session at King Ethelbert's on Friday 1st December 2023. Although the closing date for entries has now passed there are still a few places left if anyone is still interested. If so please return the attached entry form to me no later than Monday 20th November 2023.
The next Networking Meeting for all PE staff will take place on Friday 8th December 2023, 1pm-4pm. As always this is an ideal opportunity to meet with other PE staff and find out important information about upcoming events and initiatives. At this meeting Stephanie Selsby, our SGO, will be going through the changes and criteria for this year's School Games Mark - possession of which is always a hit with Ofsted! We are also hoping to be able to hold the meeting at Thanet Squash Club and include a practical session on how to teach Mini Squash.
All you need to do is let me know that you (plus any other PE support staff from your school) will be attending - so that we can ensure that we have enough coffee, tea and biscuits! This is one of the many benefits of Thanet Passport membership and please don't forget that any supply cover counts as eligible expenditure from your Sports Premium.
Attached is a flyer about the popular 'Christmas Cricket Camp' which will be held at St Lawrence College from 20th to 22nd December 2023. Please share it with all your budding young cricketers and their families.
