The Thanet Passport website has undergone a revamp and is full of useful information and documentation, such as sport specific rules, template forms and all previous Updates, as well as photographs and reports of recent events. So why not check it out?

Sadly we have had a number of schools entering events this year and then withdrawing, sometimes with very little notice. This causes a number of problems, especially if fixtures have already been sent out and medals ordered. Obviously last minute illness amongst staff or children cannot be foreseen, especially these days, although even then it doesn't hurt to think about a back-up plan if this were to happen. In order to help schools with this issue, Thanet Passport drew up a Pre-Entry Protocol document a number of years ago. This consists of a checklist of questions to go through before signing up for one of our events. I have attached a copy for your convenience, which can also be found under the documents section on our website.
This event will take place at Dane Court on Friday 14th January 2022, 3.45-5.30pm. There is no gender restriction with teams of 4 required. Due to the number of tables there are only 8 places available. If you wish to enter please return the attached entry form to garybcrees@gmail.com , but please note that entries will not be accepted until 7.30am on Thursday 2nd December 2021. Places will then be allocated on a first come first served basis. The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 10th December 2021.
Attached is the entry form and details for the Year 5/6 Badminton Tournament at The Ursuline on Tuesday 18th January 2022, 4-6pm. There is a limit of 12 teams (max 2 per school) and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Entries entries will not be accepted until 7.30am on Thursday 2nd December 2021 and should be sent to Stephanie Selsby, sgo@ursuline.kent.sch.uk - NOT ME! Closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 10th December 2021.
Attached is the flyer for the Year 2 Gymnastics Festival at Callis Grange on Wednesday 19th January 2022, 9.15-11.15am, Because of time and space entries are limited to 6 schools, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis from 7.30am on Thursday 2nd December 2021. Please send your contact details to Jack Kirkby, jkirkby@callis-grange.kent.sch.uk - NOT ME! Entries close at midnight on Monday 13th January 2020.
Also attached is the entry form and details for the Year 5/6 Handball Tournament at King Ethelbert’s on Friday 21st January 2022, 4-5.45pm. There is a limit of 12 schools and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Entries should be sent to me, garybcrees@gmail.com , no earlier than 7.30am on Thursday 2nd December 2021. Closing date for entries is Friday 10th December 2021.
If you are registered with the Football Association and have a FAN number, then you can get an adult ticket for just £5 (instead of £20) for the Women's FA Cup Final between Arsenal and Chelsea at Wembley this coming Sunday 5th December, kick-off at 2pm. Simply login to the FA ticketing system, https://ticketingcontent.thefa.com , with your email and password and enter the code ESFAWFAC21 to get one of the best seats in the stadium.
