Dear Colleagues
As I hope you will have noted from the Passport Calendar, our first Networking Meeting of the year for all school PE staff will take place on Thursday 20th October 2022, 1-4pm at Margate Tennis Club. As well as giving you a chance to meet other PE staff and find out important information about upcoming events and initiatives, this meeting will also give all attendees the opportunity to take part in a FREE practical session with a LTA coach. This in turn will entitle your school to a £250 voucher which can be exchanged for 10 hours of team teaching with an accredited LTA coach. So what's not to like?
All you need to do is let me know that you (plus any other PE support staff from your school) will be attending - so that we can ensure that we have enough coffee, tea and biscuits! This is one of the many benefits of Thanet Passport membership and please don't forget that any supply cover counts as eligible expenditure from your Sports Premium.
Thankyou to those schools that have already sent me their entry forms for the Cross Country event at Quex Park on Saturday 8th October 2022. Just a quick reminder that your entry forms need to be with me no later than this coming Friday 30th September, with all monies paid in either by BACS or cheque by the following Monday 3rd October.
Also a reminder that the closing date for entries for the Y1/2 Football Festival at Margate FC on Wednesday 12th October 2022 is this coming Friday 30th September.

It was great to see so many of you at our Relaunch Meeting at Thanet Wanderers Rugby Club. For those schools that were unable to make it, Stephanie (our SGO) and I will be contacting your school to see if we can make an appointment to come and see you, as we don't want anyone to miss out on any of the benefits that membership of Thanet Passport offers.
