Thanet Passport Update - 1

Hi All,

Welcome back! I hope that you had a restful summer break and have returned eager to join in with another year of great sporting opportunities for your school!

WHATSAPP GROUP
I will continue to use the WhatsApp Group for updates and information only. If you would like to be added to the group please message me with your name, number and school and I will add you to the group.

PASSPORT CALENDAR
Please find attached the Passport calendar for 2025/26. Once again we have included the dates of all our Networking Meetings for PE Staff in the hope that, with more notice, more of you will be able to attend. We have also tried to keep the first week of each term free of events in order to give you more time to get letters out and teams organised. Please let me know if you spot any errors by the end of the week so that I can get it changed before they are printed. 

I will arrange for the A3 and A4 size laminated hard copies to be delivered to your schools in a few weeks.

YEAR 3-6 FOOTBALL
Please complete the form to sign up for the TPSFA Festivals, as well as the John Curran Cup, the Les Riggs Cup, the DW Girls Cup and Super Saturday. Timings for this are tight so please CLICK HERE to complete ASAP and no later than Thursday 4th September 2025. I have also attached an info sheet to give you more details about each event.

Details about the Year 2 football festival will be sent out later in the term.

DISTRICT TEAM
Staying on the theme of football, thank you to all those schools that nominated players for our Boys and Girls District Teams. Following the trials this means that some of your better players may well be unavailable for Saturday games, so please do not pressurise them to play for the school if a District game is also taking place. Thank you to Brian Wickens & Lee Hook (U11 Boys District) and Chris Bodley & Charlotte Scales (U11 Girls District) for giving up their time to run the teams for this season.
