YR 3-6 CROSS COUNTRY - 4th October 2025 - CANCELLED
I have taken the difficult decision today to not go ahead with the Quex Park Cross Country on Saturday 4th October 2025. Margate Ambulance Corps, who usually provide our emergency medical cover, were unable to attend on the day. You will appreciate that the safety and welfare of our competitors and spectators is paramount in planning an event of this size. Unfortunately, no other comparable service has been found to guarantee the level of protection that our public liability insurance requires. Please be assured that we are fully committed to the second date in this year’s Thanet Passport calendar and also to returning to our twice-annual schedule thereafter. Thanks for supporting our events in the past and apologies for the disappointment. I look forward to welcoming you all to Quex Park on Saturday 28th February 2026. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with the loan of equipment or any other support for running events that schools are hosting.

Refreshments will be provided. Don't forget that the cost of cover for you to attend counts as eligible expenditure from your PE & Sports Premium budget.
